"Shall I take them away?" Adrian asked, pointing towards her packed suitcase.

By the time he came back into the house, Mia was ready to go. She was wearing a short jeans skirt with a red top. 'Wow,' Adrian thought.

"All set?" Mia asked.

"Cough! Yes." Adrian felt as if he was caught staring.

But Mia did not notice it.

Soon they started back.

Mia was surprised by the buzz inside. A kabana was set up on the right with a large table inside with different kinds of food stacked up, baguettes, the bread in different shapes, cheese, and drinks. Mia assumed most of it was wine. Behind it was a stone building, with people bringing more stuff out. It looked like a storage house.

On the other side was an open field. There were large drums scattered with people in them.

"They are .." She had only seen these in movies. People were crushing the grapes with their feet. "Wow!"

"Shall we?" Adrian asked and led her.

"Oh, Hello there!" An old lady waved to them as they approached. "Would you like to join us?" She asked as she gave Adrian and Mia a scarf and noticed Mia's leg in a cast.

"Oh, sorry," She quickly apologized, realizing perhaps they were not there for the winemaking.

"Oh no! It's alright. Adrian would be joining." She said, pointing to him.

The lady led them to one of the empty drums. "You can use this." Two men brought in the grapes and put them in the drum. The lady brought a chair for Mia to sit on. Adrian came back after washing his feet and jumped in.

"This is fun!" He called out to her. Mia took a picture of him as he stomped on the grapes.

"It looks fun." Mia gave him a thumbs up.

Soon one of the men came over with a bucket of water, and they helped Mia wash her leg.

"But I am cant go in?" Mia looked at Adrian in surprise. Adrian lifted and made her sit on the drum with one leg inside and the other on the chair.

"Now you can too,"

Mia laughed. She could not do much crushing with just one leg, but it felt nice to be in there.

He splashed a bit onto her leg.

"Really...?" Mia retorted and put more on him. Then, they both laughed as Adrian continued stomping. Soon they were all called in for lunch, and then they said their goodbyes.

"That was fun. I never knew you could do this outside of those European countries, you know!" Mia talked excitedly.

"Well! Their wine doesn't compare to all the French wines. They do more of the non-alcoholic stuff."

The conversation continued on wines as they drove back. Adrian dropped Mia at her apartment and helped her with the luggage.

"Groceries?" He asked once they settled.

"Don't bother. I'll order in. But, why don't you stay for dinner? We can order a takeaway!"
